Service Tech Positions And Responsibilities
Service Technician I
- Often a recent graduate or has 3 or less years of experience
- Qualified and able to make repairs in the field but not proficient in making diagnoses unsupervised
- Proficient in preventative maintenance work
Service Technician II
- Required accreditations including EPA certification
- Generally has more than 3 years’ experience in the field
- Qualified and skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial grade HVAC equipment
Service Technician III
- Required accreditations including EPA certification
- More than 5 years’ experience in the field
- Qualified and skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial grade HVAC equipment
- Can work independently and perform full maintenance and service on a wide variety of commercial air-conditioning equipment
