SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Essential Duties

• Test backflows
• Fix water leaks inside meter boxes
• Install water meters
• Fill out paperwork from work orders
• Maintain stock of truck
• Notify customers as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to operate a backhoe

Physical/Environmental Requirements

• Constantly working in wet surrounds and high temperatures
• Frequently working around loud noise, low temperatures, and working outside
• Frequently works around hazardous machinery, low noise, cluttered floor areas, and poor ventilation
• Occasionally works at night, inside, and around dust or fumes
