Service Technician

About the role
This position supports the sales and service efforts in the Green Bay/Appleton Area. The Service Technician will conduct basic lab tests, maintenance and installation of equipment, chemical transfers, and process monitoring in paper and pulp mills. Responsibilities include keeping detailed records of inventory, reporting results, and working safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing and monitoring at the customer site, including data entry and service report preparation.
- Interface with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment.
- Manage product inventory at the customer site, including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks.
- Adjust chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring.
- Alert the site manager or support engineer of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begin troubleshooting issues.
- Conduct expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts.
- Spec out, set up, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment.
- Work with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance.
- Complete mechanical and electrical equipment repairs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working on mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment.
- Chemical handling experience desired but not required.
Schedule
Primarily Monday through Friday day shift, but can include weekend overtime hours.
Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is between $52,760.00 and $77,374.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
