Service Technician

Summary Of Responsibilities The primary responsibility for the Service Technician is to provide exceptional customer service to Watts Steam Store customers in repairs & maintenance of equipment, refurbishing or rebuilding of equipment and products. The service Technician must always exhibit positive and effective interaction with all Watts customers, associates, and vendors. Job Duties Include Commit and uphold the Watts Steam Store safety commitment in all actions and communications as it applies in our safety manual and procedures.Create and maintain accurate service and repair documents for all work to be performed.Use and understand all documents, forms, and procedures as they apply.Diagnose issues with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, pressure washer, waste oil furnaces and compressed air systems.Service and repair on-road, off-road mobile equipment, and industrial fluid power systems.Refurbish, rebuild, and replace required components to restore equipment to required working order.Perform welding and fabrication tasks as the project requires.Attend the required training programs on products, services and self-development programs offered by or through Watts Steam Store.Maintaining a clean work area for safety and to expedite project completion.Able to work overtime, travel and work an occasional on-call shift.Perform any and all other duties assigned by the management.Skills/Qualifications: Monday - FridayExperience Mechanical knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, and installation. Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, compressed air, pressure washer, waste oil furnaces and mechanical systems preferred.Proficient in basic hydraulic plumbing, welding, and mechanical fabrication.Ability to read & understand hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical drawings and schematics.Professional, superior customer service skillsStrongly motivated with an ability to work independentlyHigh level of integrity and ethical valuesExcellent communication skills both written and verbalBasic computer skills or ability to learn for record keepingClean driving recordAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basisAbility to consistently use arms & legs with full range of motion; frequent stooping, bending, squatting & kneeling; exert push & pull forcesSchedule: Hydraulics: 1 year (Preferred)Mechanical Knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)Benefits: Health InsurancePaid Time OffVision Insurance401K Job Type: Full-time Benefits 401(k)Health insurancePaid time offVision insurance Experience Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)Hydraulics: 1 year (Preferred)Service technician: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person PI287465784
