About the role

We are currently seeking a qualified Service Technician to work collaboratively with our sawmill in Mt Vernon, Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently perform preventative and routine maintenance on both gas and propane forklifts, loaders, and other various equipment
  • Conduct safety inspections of equipment and accurately maintain maintenance records
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations
  • Occasional heavy lifting and working in both hot and cold environments
  • Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of both gasoline and diesel engines
  • Recent mechanic or service experience is preferred
  • All applicants must be at least age 18
