Service Technician

The Service Technician serves as a valuable resource for the North American customer by analyzing, diagnosing, and servicing products returned from the field. This position also involves troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on Siemens' own local manufacturing operations.

About the Role

This position is based in Harleysville, PA. It is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The role collaborates frequently with local technical support and international Siemens factories.

Responsibilities

• Receive, analyze, diagnose, document, and repair or otherwise service returned products.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on various electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools and equipment.
• Maintain and follow the PIM preventive maintenance schedule.
• Support the Marketing department with the assembly of demonstration units for shows and sales presentations.

Requirements

• Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• 5+ years’ experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuits and equipment
• Clear and respectful written and verbal communicator
• Basic Windows and Microsoft Office computer skills
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Vocational school certifications in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system repair
• 2+ years’ experience communicating directly with customers
• 1+ years’ experience using SAP
• Experience in an ISO9001-certified work environment

We offer competitive compensation with a base salary range of $57,120 to $97,920, plus benefits.

The position is full-time and permanent.
