Service Technician

Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading medical device company to identify a Electronic or Mechanical Service Technician for an opportunity near Oakdale, MN. Additional Details:Location model: Oakdale, MNPosition Type: 12-month contract with potential to extendPay range approved: $20/hr - $22/hr, depending on experience Responsibilities:Diagnose, troubleshoot, clean, and repair electronic or mechanical healthcare devices.Operate common hand tools, repair tools, and test equipment to perform device repairs.Generate and process service repair documentation to maintain repair traceability and support customer invoicing.Prepare repair estimates, including service parts and labor costs.Maintain local service parts inventory in coordination with the Materials Control team.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Communicate effectively with customer service, repair technicians, and management to support efficient service center operations.Use a PC with Microsoft Windows and basic Microsoft Word and Excel applications to complete repair documentation and administrative tasks.Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Training from a two-year technical school preferred.Prior work experience in a technical field or industry preferred.Experience using common tools and test equipment for electronic or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.Ability to maintain an orderly work area and follow established repair procedures.
