Service Technician

Role: The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and wheel balancing. They handle customer transports, parts pickups, and maintain shop cleanliness. Responsibilities: Conducts basic vehicle services, documents vehicle conditions using inspection tools, and ensures a clean and safe work environment. Operates vehicles safely, follows safety procedures, and complies with all company policies. May perform state safety and emission inspections where applicable, and transport customers or supplies as needed. Qualifications: Ability to work at least five days weekly, including weekends, with a valid driver's license. Prior automotive experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and motivation are essential. Must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Skills & Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 70 pounds. Must have good vision, dexterity, and communication skills. PPE use may be necessary due to environmental conditions, which include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures. Key Duties: Tire servicing, oil changes, vehicle inspections, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring a tidy shop.
