Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for common area and apartment repairs (routine and preventative) in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and appliances.
- Further oversight of the building’s curb appeal through building exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance is required.
- Customer service and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the community’s residents.
- Responsible for daily cleaning
- Special projects as assigned
- Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
- Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Able to attend team meetings, workshops and training sessions as required.
- Will be required to be in an on-call rotation with other employees for emergency work orders.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and snow removal.
- Customer service first attitude.
- Must have reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
- Experience working in maintenance in an apartment community
- On call REQUIRED
