Responsibilities

Rite‑Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact. As an apprentice, you will spend the majority of your time working closely with a senior Technician, learning our products and our customers and developing the skills needed to work on your own.

Requirements

• Entry‑level position; prior mechanical or electrical experience is helpful.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle; pre‑employment drug test, clean driving record, and DOT physical required.

Pay

The hiring range for this position in USA‑CT‑Windsor is $26.85–$36.90 per hour based on a 40‑hour work week. Base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary by geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus opportunity may be provided as part of the compensation package.
