Service Technician
About the role
The Service Technician plays a critical role in the success of Restaurant Technologies. Technicians install and service advanced equipment for the food service industry, provide customer training, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance for existing customers.

Responsibilities
- Install and maintain products safely, timely, and accurately.
- Meet operational goals and timelines (service labor per hour, first‑time‑right, 5S standards, etc.).
- Comply with internal processes and all local/federal regulations, including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
- Maintain proper parts and supply levels in service vehicles and ensure accurate paperwork.
- Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets expectations.
- Service customers professionally, providing training and coaching on the system as needed.
- Utilize iPhone apps for parts management, customer notes, and clocking in/out.
- Potentially perform night installations based on customer demand and install schedule.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate a DOT‑regulated vehicle and pass a DOT‑mandated pre‑employment drug test (including THC).
- Team‑oriented mindset and strong problem‑solving skills for installation and service issues.
- Ability to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical duties.
- Strong customer focus and ability to handle challenging situations positively.
- Meet Restaurant Technologies’ fleet safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to carry 50 lb by hand, bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, reach, and climb ladders up to 20 ft.
Compensation
The position pays $35 per hour, composed of a $30 base rate plus a $5 “Weekend Warrior” rate. Shift differential and overtime may apply, and the role is eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to $5,200 per year.
Schedule
Thursday through Sunday, four 10‑hour shifts each week, starting at 7:00 A.M. The schedule may include night installation work depending on customer demand.
