About the role
At Puretec Industrial Water, we transform everyday city water into ultra-pure deionized water for critical applications across various industries. Our work matters, and so will yours!
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair cutting-edge water treatment equipment, including water softeners, reverse osmosis (RO) units, pumps, and ultra-pure water systems.
- Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and replace or repair parts as needed.
- Work with hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and advanced testing equipment.
- Load, unload, and set up equipment at customer locations.
- Think on your feet, working independently to adapt to new challenges daily while keeping safety a top priority.
- Stay curious, continuing to learn about new water purification technologies and troubleshooting techniques.
- Work directly with customers, ensuring their systems run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Mechanical and electrical know-how: You love troubleshooting, working with tools, and solving problems.
- D-I-Y mentality: You’ve got a passion for fixing and improving things, whether it’s in your garage or on the job.
- Eager to learn: You don’t need to be an expert, but you should have a willingness to develop new skills.
- Team player with independence: You work well with others but can also handle tasks solo.
- Valid driver’s license: This role requires travel to customer sites.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred (but hands-on experience speaks louder than degrees).
Skills
- Hands-on experience with water treatment equipment and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Pay
The base pay range for this role is what we reasonably expect to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
Schedule
Active work, climbing, lifting (up to 40+ lbs), bending, and using tools are all part of the day. Expect some travel to customer sites, mostly local, with occasional overnight trips.
