Service Technician

About the role

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a Garage Door Technician Apprentice to join our team. This role involves on-site diagnosis and repair of garage doors and associated equipment, customer consultation, and sales of services and new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and resolving issues with garage doors and associated equipment on-site
• Advising customers on repair options and ways to prevent future problems
• Utilizing our proven model to sell services, repairs, and new equipment
• Managing inventory and equipment in your provided vehicle

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills are a plus (not required)
• Ability to independently lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficiency with computers/tablets and hand tools
