About the role
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our teamwork-oriented service department. This is an ideal position for a high-energy, self-motivated individual who enjoys active work and wants to learn a specialized trade through hands-on mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborative Service: Partner with a Lead Tech to perform high-quality repairs and routine maintenance.
- Active Field Work: Spend your day outdoors (7–10 hours) moving between job sites in a company vehicle.
- Technical Support: Assist with the "heavy lifting" of the service world—from equipment installs to complex troubleshooting.
- Customer Interaction: Represent Pool World with a professional attitude and a focus on "doing it right the first time."
Requirements
- A Valid Driver’s License: Must be insurable under our corporate auto insurance (relatively clean record for the last 5 years).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift at least 75 lbs and enjoy working outdoors regardless of the weather.
- A Professional Mindset: Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking with a positive, "team-first" attitude.
- A Desire to Learn: You are a "student of the trade" who is interested in growing your technical skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
DOE and ranges from $18-21 an hour.
