Service Technician

About the role

At Plunkett's, our technicians do more than treat pests. They solve problems and help customers feel safe and comfortable. As a Service Technician, you'll manage your own route, provide pest control services, and build strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide pest control services for homes and businesses
• Inspect properties and treat for common pests
• Build strong customer relationships
• Look for ways to grow your route through sales
• Use basic equipment and tools, and work in indoor and outdoor conditions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Skills

• Comfortable talking with customers and selling services
• Self‑starter who thrives working independently
• Eager to learn (training and licensing provided)
• Comfortable with physical work and outdoor conditions
• Able to use mobile apps for daily tasks
• Bonus: Experience in route sales, account management, or customer service
• Physical requirements: regularly lift and move 25 to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs); perform tasks like bending, reaching, and extended walking or sitting

Pay

Training pay is $20.00 – $22.00 per hour plus uncapped sales incentives.

Schedule

You set your own schedule – flexible hours mean you work when it makes sense, with no micromanaging or fixed 9‑to‑5. Plan your day, prioritize stops, and build lasting client relationships.
