Service Technician

About the role

At Plunkett's, our technicians do more than treat pests. They solve problems and help customers feel safe and comfortable. As a Service Technician, you'll manage your own route, provide pest control services, and build strong customer relationships.

Training Pay is $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour + Uncapped Sales Incentives!

Responsibilities

• Provide pest control services for homes and businesses
• Inspect properties and treat for common pests
• Build strong customer relationships
• Look for ways to grow your route through sales
• Use basic equipment and tools, and work in indoor and outdoor conditions

Requirements

• Comfortable talking with customers and selling services
• Self-starter who thrives working independently
• Eager to learn. We'll train and license you.
• Comfortable with physical work and outdoor conditions
• Able to use mobile apps for daily tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Bonus points: Experience in route sales, account management, or customer service.

Physical requirements

• Regularly lift and move 25 to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs)
• Perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and extended walking or sitting
