Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Service Technician with HVAC experience to join our team at OneWall Communities®. This role involves daily maintenance operations, including general maintenance and repairs, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. The technician will also manage grounds and curb appeal and assist with “make-ready” renovations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are completed correctly and promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, vendors, and supervisors.
• Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
• Aid in moving furniture and handling supplies, ensuring safety during heavy item handling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of general maintenance experience in construction, plumbing, and electrical preferred.
• HVAC certification required.
• Excellent customer relations experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform essential job functions, including resident communication, documentation, and policy compliance.

Schedule

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed.
