Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using the latest tools and diagnostic equipment
- Perform routine maintenance services as outlined in repair orders
- Complete work efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Test drive vehicles before and after repairs
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations to the Service Advisor
- Provide estimates and timelines for additional work needed
- Perform warranty work and follow factory procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Fast, eager learner and team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
