Responsibilities
- Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and Ford standards
- Test-drive vehicles and evaluate systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Electrical steering
- Suspension
- Brakes
- HVAC / A/C
- And other related components
- Communicate clearly with the Service Advisor regarding additional needed repairs and time estimates
- Complete warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure all work meets the highest safety and quality standards
- 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ford Certification required
- Previous Ford dealership experience strongly preferred
- B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Solid troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to continually grow
- Able to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Comfort with learning new technology, procedures, and specifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
