Service Technician

About the role

M.H. Eby, Inc., a leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers & truck bodies, is seeking technicians for its service department at the Worthing facility. Positions involve servicing trailers made by EBY and other manufacturers, Monday through Friday, 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Performing inspections of trailers per DOT
• General trailer/truck body service, brake repairs, wiring repairs, welding, fabrication
• Other types of mechanical repairs on livestock semi/gooseneck trailers, grain trailers, and aluminum truck bodies

Requirements

• Proper use of hand tools
• Proper use of tape measures
• Proper use of power tools
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work as a team

Qualifications

• Prior experience with trailer maintenance, brakes, electrical, metal fabrication, and systems diagnosis is preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude is helpful
• Must possess the ability to work as a team

Pay

Starting wage based upon experience.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week work schedule.
