About the role

Performs physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, or on a wellsite. Expected to have a working understanding of operations to effectively communicate with clients, perform shipping/receiving duties, rig up/down equipment, and redress equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs shipping and receiving duties: loads and unloads trucks; uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting; follows shipping practices, procedures, and transportation routing, schedules, and requirements; receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
  • Installs and disassembles company and/or competitor equipment in accordance with original manufacturer’s standards.
  • Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment, including testing and diagnostics.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency, following applicable safety guidelines and industry standards.
  • Maintains communication with customers and site leaders; advises on repair/replacement options; acts as a liaison between sales, operations, and customers on product and installation issues.
  • Inspects, rebuilds, operates, tests, and troubleshoots equipment; paints equipment; completes records and associated documentation.
  • Operates equipment and materials following OEM guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • May operate heavy machinery if properly certified.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and interpret a variety of oral and written instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Education: Less than high school.
  • Work experience: 0–2 years.

Preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5–10 years of work experience.
  • Relevant experience in Flowback in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience working for Pioneer Natural Resources.
  • Current relevant HSE certifications.
  • Class A CDL.

Physical Requirements

  • Precise hand/eye coordination: Constantly.
  • Basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions: Frequently.
  • Operation of heavy equipment or vehicles: Occasionally.
  • Lifting/pushing objects weighing over 50 lbs: Occasionally.
  • Climbing and working in awkward and cramped positions: Frequently.
  • Lifts/carries up to 82 lbs occasionally.
  • Pushing a maximum force of 72 ft./lbs.
  • Pulling a maximum force of 72 ft./lbs.
  • Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces.
  • Exposure to inclement weather, bright lights, loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes.
