About the role
The Jim Taylor Auto Group is seeking a full-time Automotive Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of automotive service experience, strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, and a commitment to quality work.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and accurately
- Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs or maintenance
- Communicate repair needs clearly with service advisors and team members
- Complete work according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and shop processes
- Take pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Contribute to a productive, team-focused service department
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer competencies
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
