Service Technician

About the Role

High Tide Oil Company, Inc. is currently hiring for a multi-skilled service technician. This person will install, maintain, and repair a variety of equipment found in fuel facilities, convenience gas stations, and marinas. Work includes equal portions of electronic, plumbing, and mechanical tasks, with a significant portion performed outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, underground and above-ground storage tanks, submersible fuel pumps, service station site controllers, cash register consoles, tank and line monitoring equipment, and other related systems.
• Perform electronic, plumbing, and mechanical work as required.
• Handle all scopes of maintenance tasks.
• Interact with a variety of people, demonstrating good communication skills.
• Work independently and self-direct when needed.
• Use various hand and power tools effectively.
• Utilize basic computer skills for work-related tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the oil and fueling industry.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work in a commercial setting.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• High standards for appearance and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Self-directed and able to work independently.
• Basic computer experience.
