Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician with a minimum of 2 years of professional mechanical repair experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft, and other powersports vehicles. This role is for a skilled technician who can work independently with minimal supervision from day one.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire installation, fluid services, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, fuel, and drivability concerns
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns
• Use diagnostic equipment, power tools, and specialized service tools to complete repairs
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
• Complete manufacturer-required service procedures and warranty repairs
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair recommendations and findings when needed

Qualifications & Skills

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a powersports or related mechanical technician (required)
• Demonstrated experience working on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, PWC, or similar equipment (required)
• Experience with suspension components, steering systems, and drivetrain repairs
• Proficiency in routine maintenance and major mechanical repairs without close supervision
• Ability to diagnose and repair issues using diagnostic equipment and service manuals
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using power tools and specialized service equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• ASE or manufacturer certifications a plus

Pay

$25.00 – $45.00 per hour (based on experience)
