Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain air compressors, air treatment equipment, and related products
- Check in with each customer on site and keep in communication regarding job requirements, safety guidelines, scope of work, additional findings, cost, and completion time
- Leave job sites clean and neat
- Complete electronic work orders (signed by customer via iPad) and warranty forms prior to leaving customers’ facility
- Communicate with Service Manager and Service Support staff
- Practice safe driving
- Participate in safety meetings and safety training
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Work on ladders, operate man-lifts, and forklifts
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers
Qualifications
- 3+ years of mechanical service experience required (diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, aircraft mechanic, etc)
- 3 years on-the-job mechanical experience and training
- Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines

Physical Demand and Working Conditions
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Shop environment - Requires working in hot (above 90 F degrees) or cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures, includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable
- Requires working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions
- Requires working in cramped spaces and getting into awkward positions
- Exposure to contaminants
Training/Certifications
- We will train
- Cisco Air Systems Service Technician Career Path Program involving four (4) levels: Certified, Advanced, Senior and Master
Shift Time and Overtime
- Shift Time: 7:30am-4:00pm
- Overtime available
Travel
- Travel to customer sites
Additional Information
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, technical college degree preferred
