Service Technician

About the Role

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. You’ll perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations. You’ll also instruct customers on proper equipment use, respond to inquiries, and communicate customer needs to First Choice staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls (emergency, preventive maintenance, installations, and removals) on coffee brewing equipment at customer sites.
• Train customers on equipment operation and address their inquiries.
• Complete service calls and related paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for your assigned service vehicle and conduct monthly inventory checks.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for customer use.
• Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory per company policies.
• Ensure your assigned service vehicle receives routine maintenance, obey traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Assume route driver duties during absences of regular delivery drivers and perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area, receive, organize, and stock parts for equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Past experience is a plus.
