Service Technician

About the role

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. You’ll perform scheduled and unscheduled service on coffee brewing equipment, including emergency calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and removals at customer locations. You’ll also instruct customers on equipment use, handle inquiries, and ensure all service documentation is accurate and timely.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer sites
• Instruct customers on proper use of coffee equipment and respond to inquiries
• Complete service calls and related paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintain proper parts inventory for assigned service vehicle and conduct monthly inventory checks
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for customer use
• Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory per company policies
• Ensure assigned service vehicle receives routine maintenance, obey traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Assume route driver duties during absences of regular branch delivery drivers and perform other deliveries as needed
• Maintain and clean the service area
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Past experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
