Service Technician

About the role

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. You’ll perform scheduled and unscheduled service on coffee brewing equipment, including emergency calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and removals at customer locations across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform service activities on coffee brewing equipment (emergency calls, preventive maintenance, installations, removals).
• Instruct customers on proper equipment use, respond to inquiries, and relay customer questions to appropriate staff.
• Complete service calls and related paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for your assigned service vehicle and conduct monthly inventory checks.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for customer sites.
• Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory per company policies.
• Ensure your service vehicle receives routine maintenance, obey traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Assume route driver duties during absences of regular delivery drivers and perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Past experience is a plus.
