Service Technician

About the role

Allegiant-Carter Management is seeking a dedicated and passionate maintenance professional to join our team at Reserve of Byram in Byram, MS. We are a Tampa-based property management company serving multifamily communities in the Southeast U.S., backed by over 200 years of real estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and routine upkeep on the property
• Perform “make-ready” processes for vacant apartments and new move-ins
• Document and track service requests and maintenance tasks
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Inspect work performed by contractors and vendors
• Conduct routine and periodic inspections
• Treat residents and others with respect and respond to complaints
• Work on an on-call basis, including weekends and nights

Requirements

• Service or Maintenance technician experience (multifamily industry preferred)
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry
• CPO certification (required in some locations)
• HVAC certification (preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Outdoor work in various climates
• Use of manual and power tools weighing up to 40 pounds
• Carry, set-up, and climb ladders and scaffolding weighing up to 125 pounds, reaching heights of 40 feet
• Transport and set-up appliances, furniture, building materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds using hand trucks
