Service Technician

About the role

As a Service Technician, you’ll help keep customer operations running safely, accurately, and on track. You’ll be out in the field working on equipment, solving problems, and making sure customers can keep moving without issues. You’ll work independently—but you won’t be on an island. You’ll build relationships with customers and be someone they rely on.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, repair, and installation on industrial weighing equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete service calls safely and efficiently
• Communicate clearly with customers on what you find and what’s next
• Document your work (service notes, time, and results)
• Identify and address safety risks on job sites
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
• Support team and customer needs as they come up
• Participate in on-call rotation and overtime as needed

Qualifications

• Must-have: Mechanical aptitude with basic electrical understanding, strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently in the field, valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT/customer requirements, clear communication and documentation skills, customer-first mindset, flexibility
• Nice-to-have: Experience with industrial equipment or service work, technical training or related experience
