About the role

The Service Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains John Deere construction, forestry, and industrial equipment in both shop and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.
• Communicate repair recommendations with customers and managers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Participate in ongoing technical and manufacturer training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience repairing heavy equipment, diesel engines, or related machinery preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Basic computer and diagnostic software knowledge.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in shop and outdoor environments.
