Roles
- Calibrate, perform preventative and corrective maintenance of AVL equipment.
- Able to wire control devices and verify operation.
- Affords assistance in the evaluation and repair of AVL equipment.
- Affords assistance in test equipment installation, configuration, maintenance and calibration.
- Actively participates in developing one’s own training plan and exhibits ownership in completing training.
- Provides feedback of troubleshooting guides and continuous improvement methods to increase operating equipment effectiveness (O.E.E.).
- Records and documents calibrations, diagnostic and performance test results, records maintenance activities, and documents while accurately maintaining shift logs.
- Professional and timely submission of timesheets, calibration reports, and other administrative responsibilities.
- Completes all applicable safety training.
Qualifications/Skills
- 2 years' Technical college preferred, High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic electronic or precision mechanical assembly knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints including electrical schematics
- Electrical wiring skills
- Knowledge and use of fine mechanical hand tools
- Ability to diagnose problems with simple systems
- Basic knowledge of personal computer hardware and software
- Experience test equipment preferred
