Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain customer solar systems according to warranty and service agreements
• Cook up inverter warranty claims with manufacturers and communicate updates with Customer Service Representatives
• Identify additional repair opportunities and recommend solutions while on-site
• Provide exceptional customer service while promoting safety, quality, and workmanship standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly functioning vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Document field findings, system readings, photos, repairs, and service details in company systems
• Inspect roofs for damage or wear that could impact solar system performance or roof integrity
• Seal roof penetrations to prevent leaks and maintain system protection
• Remove debris from rooftops and gutters as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of PV system installation experience
• Thorough understanding of PV inverter and system troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of building codes (NEC, IRC, IFC, TRI, and roofing)
• Completion of OSHA 10 Hour Outreach Training Program for Construction
• Clean Driving Record and DoT Medical Card
• Solar Technician Service: 2 years (Required)
• Drivers License (Required)
