Service Technician - Accommodations

Purpose

Performs physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, or on a wellsite; expected to have a working understanding of operations in order to effectively communicate with clients, rig up/down equipment, and maintain well-site rental equipment and accommodations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Rigs up and down well site surface rental equipment and accommodations
• Coordinate on-site installation of accommodations and equipment
• Install semi-permanent water and sewer systems
• Perform minor electrical work for vacuums, pumps, light plants, generators, and housing
• Maintains communication with customer and site leader; advises customers on repair/replacement options; acts as a liaison between sales and operations personnel and customers on product and product installation issues
• Inspects, rebuilds, operates, tests, and troubleshoots equipment
• Monitors, evaluates and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency
• Operates equipment and materials following OEM guidelines as well as standard operating procedures
• Completes records and associated documentation
• All duties are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards
• May operate heavy machinery if properly certified

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Less than High School Education
• Work Experience: 0-2 years
• Supervisory Experience: Not Applicable
• Related Experience: Ability to communicate and interpret a variety of oral and written instructions
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Work Experience: 0-2 years
• Supervisory Experience: Not Applicable
• Related Experience: Relevant experience as a service technician in the oil and gas industry
• General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Current relevant HSE certifications
• Class A CDL
