Service Tech - Flooring Solutions

About the role

Supports United Rentals' Flooring and Facilities Solutions Division by performing maintenance tasks and minor repairs on rental flooring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental flooring equipment before and after use
• Report machine condition to Management
• Perform repairs of rental flooring equipment as needed, including checking electrical continuity, wiring faults, and tagging of equipment for rental ready status
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Aid with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Basic knowledge of electrical equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to position
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
