As a Culligan Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in the installation, service, and repair of our products and systems in customer homes and/or businesses. Our products include water softeners, drinking water systems, and solutions for challenging water conditions. Diagnostics & Repair: Run diagnostic tests on residential and commercial units, identify malfunctions, and resolve issues effectively. Customer Education: Interact directly with customers to explain water quality, educate them on proper system usage, and recommend service or upgrade options that best meet their needs. Administrative & Safety Duties: Safely operate company vehicles, complete daily service orders and paperwork, manage truck inventory, and other duties as assigned. Here's who we're looking for: Experience: Mechanical aptitude or previous hands-on technical/plumbing experience is highly preferred. Must be willing to learn on an ongoing basis. Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, basic math proficiency, and exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Traits: Dependable, organized, and customer-focused with a professional, friendly, and trustworthy approach. Ability to build customer confidence by clearly communicating equipment status, service recommendations, and solutions in a way that customers can easily understand. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including the capacity to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment or products (ranging from 50 to over 150 lbs). At Hall's Culligan Water we enforce a multi-step pre-employment screening process. Pre-employment requirements may include: Must be at least 18 years of age or older, and must be able to successfully pass, and maintain, an acceptable driving record check to be insurable by the company to -operate a company vehicle.Must be able to successfully pass criminal background check and drug screening checks, as well as any ongoing screenings per company requirements.Must remain physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of performing the duties required of this position.Must be able to safely operate a commercial vehicle on a daily basis, sometimes several hours at a time.
