Leadership & Operations
You'll mentor, and manage a mixed team of service technicians & in-house.
Plan and schedule service missions, optimizing skills, travel, and resources.
Prioritize cases by machine criticality and customer impact.
Coordinate tools, parts, documentation, and safety compliance.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
Serve as primary contact for customers and sales on service requests and escalations.
Drive fast technical resolutions and manage critical incident communications.
Collaborate with sales teams and TRUMPF technology managers.
Performance Management
Monitor and improve service KPIs; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure team compliance with TRUMPF standards and best practices.
Own customer satisfaction and profitability of California operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in service operations, field service coordination, or technical service management (industrial machinery, machine tools, or lasers)
- Proven leadership in fast-paced environments with escalation management
- Data-driven approach to performance management and KPIs
- Advanced MS Office; familiarity with ERP and logistics systems
- Excellent communication and customer-first mindset
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
Pay Range (base)
- $94,090 to $133,024
