Service supervisor

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safety: Adhere to Xylem Safety training and protocols, wear necessary PPE, conduct daily safety talks.
• Staff Leadership: Hire, develop, support, supervise, and coach direct reports. Implement training programs for shop service personnel.
• Scope Delivery: Understand project scope, collaborate with sales and operations teams, manage field staff, provide input during proposal phase.
• Internal and External Communication: Inform internal stakeholders about shop repair activities and risk mitigation strategies. Keep Area Manager informed of repair updates, safety, production reports, and project issues.
• Quality Management: Ensure quality assurance and control on all service repairs. Analyze data, identify discrepancies, and develop corrective actions.
• Support Corporate Initiatives: Drive initiatives such as Watermark, Concern reporting, and point kaizens.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma. Bachelor’s/technical degree preferred.
• 2-3 years’ experience in supervisory role.
• 3-5 years of submersible pump experience required.
• Efficient in Microsoft Office, standard asset systems/software.
• Waste Water System experience and pump experience is a plus.

Day In The Life

• Based in a shop with potential for outdoor field support.
• Exposure to high heat and physical demands including sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• May require 15-20% of time in the field.
