Engage with customers in a diverse commercial base including Healthcare, Process Manufacturing Facilities, Education Institutions, and Office Complexes. Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers.

Responsibilities

• Forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work
• Represent the company by serving as the direct customer contact
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems in a commercial environment
• Work with internal and external partners for new facility setups and existing facility retrofits
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including overnight stays
• Enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company assets

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Typically 5+ years of experience in HVAC
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand-held computer
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations
• EPA Certification
• Ability to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt
• Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 40 lbs., and occasionally more than 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Technical School or formal training preferred
• Ability to twist trunk of body 90 degrees in each direction
• Ability to squat and touch the floor with both hands
• Ability to reach hands over head
• Ability to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods
• Ability to maneuver confined access areas and access rooftops with extension/fixed ladders

Skills

• Knowledge of air conditioning theory
• Knowledge of pipe fitting
• Knowledge of mechanical layouts
• Proficiency with Microsoft office software
• Working proficiency with hand-held computer
