About the role
The Service Shop Manager will lead day-to-day operations of the Lyons Beverage Systems facility in Arlington, TX, overseeing a team of Service/Bench Technicians responsible for refurbishing returned juice equipment and servicing customer installations throughout the region.

- Oversee all shop operations including bench refurbishment workflow, field service dispatch, parts inventory, and technician scheduling.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate Service/Bench Technicians; identify training needs and support professional development.
- Establish and enforce quality standards for equipment refurbishment and field service work.
- Ensure all team members adhere to documentation, recordkeeping, and safety protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex technical issues and customer concerns.
- Report on shop performance, team productivity, and equipment throughput to division leadership.
- Inspect, diagnose, and refurbish juice dispensing equipment returned from the field, returning units to service-ready condition.
- Install, maintain, and repair beverage dispensing equipment at customer locations throughout the local area.
- Log service calls, coordinate parts ordering, keep accurate inventory, and manage shipping activities using company systems.
- Maintain company-provided service vehicle in a clean, organized, and well-stocked condition.
- Represent Lyons Magnus professionally in all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Hands-on proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, light plumbing, and general mechanical repair — ability to perform technician duties as needed.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to set expectations, hold team members accountable, and develop technician performance.
- Experience with beverage dispensing equipment or similar electromechanical systems preferred.
- Solid understanding of shop operations including parts inventory management, workflow scheduling, and documentation protocols.
- Basic computer proficiency required; duties include service call logging, inventory tracking, parts ordering, and shipping coordination using standard business software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal reporting and customer-facing interactions.
- Physical strength and dexterity to perform equipment service and bench repair tasks independently.
