Equipment Service Shop Manager

Foley Industries – Foley Equipment, Foley Power Solutions, Foley Rental, and SITECH Central – serves customers in Kansas and Western Missouri, delivering exceptional service, top-quality parts and rentals, and sales support for Caterpillar and allied construction equipment, power generation solutions, and SITECH construction technology.

About the role

Directly oversee the day-to-day function of the equipment service department at our North KC Rebuild Center. You will schedule work, communicate with customers, and direct the work of shop technicians while focusing on supporting both customers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is performed in a safe manner
• Develop schedules to meet customer needs
• Communicate with customers and technicians on repairs, status, price, and follow-up
• Ensure technicians have the training and tools needed
• Review work orders and their status
• Travel for training and/or to assist at other locations

Requirements

• Previous employee management experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience working on or knowledge of heavy equipment
• Experience working in a service department

Qualifications

• Previous employee management in a service department (preferred)
• CAT earthmoving equipment experience (preferred)
