About the role

Trane in Baltimore/Towson, MD is hiring for a Building Services Sales Leader to join our team. In this role, you will function as district sales leader for services and projects sold through the Services revenue streams. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention with building owner accounts. Sales constitutes all the processes and functions required for obtaining inside/outside sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the annual and long-term development and delivery of financial results for the Sales Office.
• Responsible for achieving annual objectives regarding profit, volume, margins, business mix, and share for all business streams.
• Leadership for the following functions: customer and district sales management, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction measurement, price management, marketing, maximizing account penetration, market penetration, customer retention, hiring and on-boarding of new sales associates, continual assessment of skills and administering necessary training, setting quotas, accurate sales forecasting and consistent use of Trane sales tools and systems.
• Assemble account teams and interact with Account Managers with differing business development requirements, customer focus, experience, sales cycles, and product portfolios.
• Responsible for sales office compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational integrity.
• Support human capital strategies such as employee engagement, recruitment and retention, and diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in commercial or industrial sales.
• Experience and proven track record in guiding and successfully leading a project to successful completion.
• Valid driver's license in state for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

This is a safety-sensitive role which may require additional drug screening.

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday: work onsite with your colleagues.
• Fridays: choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.

Pay

Annual Base Salary Range: $168,181.66 - $242,934.99

Sales Commission Eligible: No

Actual compensation will depend on elements such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
