Service Representative II

About the role

This position is a service representative in a financial institution, responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service. Key responsibilities include handling various transactions such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.

Responsibilities

• Takes messages and greets customers in person or on the telephone.
• Processes incoming mail, courier, ATM, Night Drop, and payments.
• Verifies endorsements and issues receipts for savings and checking deposits.
• Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds according to Reg. CC.
• Accepts requests for U.S. Savings Bonds, stop payment requests, and check reorders.
• Processes Treasury tax (TT&L) and loan payments, signature cards, transfers, and miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Ensures negotiable items are secure and maintains a high level of safety for the Bank.
• Answers customer questions and promotes other bank services.
• Follows established bank policies and procedures and follows supervisor's direction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months experience as a service representative in a financial institution, or six months experience with cash handling and customer service.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10's and 100's.

• Regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

Pay

Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly
