Service Representative 1 or 2 (Teller) - Pasco Branch - BILINGUAL - SPANISH REQUIRED

About the role

We are hiring one position at level 1 or 2 depending on experience. This role reports to the Assistant Branch Manager and contributes to the organization’s mission by providing high-quality service, deepening member relationships, and making members feel welcome and valued.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome members and accurately process a wide variety of transactions.
  • Balance cash drawer and perform operations functions accurately and timely; understand and work within the credit union operating system.
  • Ask members open-ended questions to understand their financial needs and make applicable recommendations or referrals to specialists.
  • Occasionally work at other branches or departments as assigned.
  • Learn, use, understand, and promote all credit union digital delivery channels.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all compliance and regulatory standards, including internal policies.

Service Representative 1 (Level 1)

  • Range 6C: $20.80 – $28.01 per hour.
  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; plus at least 6 months of related experience and/or training as a teller/service representative or in customer service with cash handling.
  • Preferred: Relevant training in a credit union, bank, or other financial institution; bilingual Spanish in some markets.

Service Representative 2 (Level 2)

  • Range 7C: $20.49 – $30.72 per hour.
  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; plus at least 2 years of related experience and/or training as a teller/service representative or in customer service with cash handling.
  • Preferred: Relevant training in a credit union, bank, or other financial institution; bilingual Spanish in some markets.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos; present information effectively in one-on-one situations.
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions with members and teammates.
  • Ability to operate general office machines and equipment (photocopier, fax, computer, currency and coin counter).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; must be able to sit or stand for extended periods.
