Job Summary

Serve as the dedicated on-site customer service representative for a major account group, providing daily support on the customer's premises. This position is contractually required and specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP).

About the Role

This position requires the candidate to have 3–5 years of experience in service, sales, or marketing, with a preference for healthcare experience. Proficiency in health insurance benefits, claims processing, and BCBSF procedures is essential.

Essential Functions

  • Resolve claims and enrollment issues
  • Provide benefits education tailored to account needs
  • Inform Marketing & Sales of service issues and renewal risks
  • Coordinate with Account Coordinator on timely resolution of policies, procedures, and mandates
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with group administrators and employees
  • Develop tracking systems and reports to measure satisfaction and identify improvement opportunities
  • Conduct Open Enrollment meetings and create educational materials (newsletters, benefits guides)
  • Attend mandatory training and meetings; perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in service, sales, or marketing (healthcare preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in health insurance benefits, claims processing, and BCBSF procedures
  • Proficiency with relevant systems
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred qualifications: Group health program administration or servicing experience, Knowledge of BCBSF's managed care delivery functions, Presentation and facilitation skills, Bilingual capability
  • Local residency; willingness to travel to Jacksonville office as needed

General Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Hourly Pay Range

$24 - $38

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
