Service Provider Pre-Certification Surgery Specialist (On-Site)

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of previous experience is required (orthopaedics preferred)
• Experience with health information, worker’s comp, motor vehicles, and customer service will be beneficial

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain pre-certifications and pre-determinations for upcoming surgeries
• Request treatment records, as needed, for use in pre-service insurance reviews
• Maintain ongoing communication for the efficient clinic operations
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Able to multi-task while producing accurate work
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
• Able to navigate electronic medical record systems efficiently
• Assist with miscellaneous tasks and projects, as needed

Qualifications

Pay

The hiring range for this role is $20.00-$28.00 per hour. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location.
