Service Porter - Stevens Creek BMW

About the role

This entry-level position is ideal for candidates interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry. The Service Porter maintains the dealership’s appearance, assists with vehicle movement, and delivers exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises to maintain flow of traffic.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean and presentable.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Support sales and service departments with various tasks, such as replenishing vehicle fluids and minor vehicle assistance.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures; immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Requirements

• Physically able to drive and move vehicles.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: drug testing, background check, MVR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus.

Pay

Base hourly compensation of $21.00.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Must be available Monday through Saturday during operational hours (Monday 7:30am - 6pm, Saturday 7:30am - 5:30pm).
• Sundays off.
