Service Plumber

Job Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste drainage systems.
• Install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment, and controls while working in cooperation with other trades and laborers.
• Ensure efficient completion of any and all projects within their scope of work in accordance with standards of building codes and safety.
• Conduct business in accordance with PPC and MetroPower, Inc. mission and vision statements.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Must have 3 years’ experience as a plumber.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Must be familiar with interpreting plumbing blueprints.
• Must identify and eliminate hazardous conditions at the job site.

Skills & Abilities

• Must hold safety as their number one priority.
• Must be a self-starter and possess a positive attitude.
• Must learn the service call software technology.
• Must read and understand blueprints.
• Must communicate effectively and convey detailed information.
