Job Responsibilities

  • Receive and process warehouse stock products, including picking, unloading, labeling, and storing items.
  • Requisition and maintain shipping materials and supplies to ensure an appropriate level of inventory.
  • Order fulfillment: Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to the schedule, involving loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping.
  • Review packing lists, adding any necessary documentation or instructions prior to sealing.
  • Quality assurance: Verify order accuracy and ensure products are free from damage and imperfections. Measure and weigh each part to optimize container usage while maintaining adequate shipping protection.
  • Customer interaction: Collaborate with customer service and parts departments to resolve issues related to order fulfillment and shipping, such as damaged items or returns. Send customer shipping confirmations and tracking information promptly.
  • Shipping logistics: Select appropriate carriers for domestic and international shipments and complete necessary shipping documentation. Stage completed packages in the appropriate carrier shipping location.
  • Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and materials from various locations. Ensure safe operation of all transport-related equipment, including warehouse vehicles.
  • Inventory management: Maintain in-house vendor and fabricated inventory. Keep accurate records of inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
  • Safety and environment: Keep the warehouse and work area clean and safe. Continuously focus on optimizing processes and space utilization.
  • Equipment operation: Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment. Lift and move materials and heavy items/packages as required.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in pick, pack, and shipping operations, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external partners.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and shipping regulations.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
