About the role

As a Service Operations Manager, you will lead and manage a team of coordinators in a fast-paced and deadline-driven service industry, including mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems. You will oversee the dispatch function to ensure prioritization and execution of work, collaborate with service sales, construction operations, field superintendents, and leadership, and assist in achieving regional service goals for financial metrics, customer satisfaction, customer retention, renewals, and consistent service operation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of coordinators in a fast-paced and deadline-driven service industry, including mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems.
  • Oversee the dispatch function to ensure prioritization and execution of work.
  • Collaborate with service sales, construction operations, field superintendents, and leadership to ensure seamless collaboration between the field sales and Operations Teams.
  • Assist in ensuring regional service goals for financial metrics, customer satisfaction, customer retention, renewals, and consistent and effective service operation.
  • Work with both internal and external customers to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with corporate support to drive process improvements.
  • Some local travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience and business acumen in a service-driven environment.
  • Management experience within a related service environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial acumen.
  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience preferred.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment and build relationships across various functions both internally and externally.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge, and executing tasks with great detail.
  • Prior experience with ERP database system usage and manipulation.

Schedule
